These agreements can last for generations, so we’ll do quick
checks on details like financial stability and long-term viability.
Getting
started
Before we set anything in stone with a conservation covenant, we’ll take a few early steps.

Risk check
Conflict check
We’ll make sure there’s nothing in your conservation
covenant that could cause a clash of interest.
Land title review
We’ll look into the legal side of the land, a bit like the start of a house sale, to make sure there are no possible obstacles. If your legal team has already done this, we might just ask for a copy.
Ecology review
Our ecologists will look at the land, plus any surveys you’ve already done,
to understand its condition and what’s possible.
Habitat plan check
If BNG is part of your planning permission, we’ll need a habitat management and
monitoring plan. If you’ve already got one, we’ll check it meets official standards.
